I begged to read this before it was published, having been on the edge of my seat from book 4. I was not disappointed with Lell's writing, the way that he wrapped everything up in a nice little package without letting the reader sit back and be complacent. He makes you think, which I find to me a really good thing.I greatly enjoyed this book, and The Keys of Kalijor series in general. I encourage anyone and everyone to read these books and I much look forward to Lell's next works.

Just oh my god. This series has left me in awe and that does not happen often. These books have left such a huge impression on me that it feels like they are a piece of me now.
Even though so much evil takes place in this series I would love to live in it. Know the characters in person, be a loyal companion to them all.
The ending was for me, completely unexpected, but absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better story to be told. I truly wish there were more adventures with this group of friends.
I did not want it all to end.
Paul Lell leaves you hanging at the end of each book, making you impatient for the next Key. Can't wait for the Sixth.
