I had heard of this book though highest praise fm and wanted to check it out. I found it very readable and insightful. I found the book useful for my own personal reflection and bible study and can Also see it would be helpful for those preparing their own bible study, sermon or talk on the book of Jude or its teachings.
The book takes you though themes of Jude and background on text and is rich in application as well as clearly presented academic depth.
This book is a useful purchase for all looking to get more out of the book of Jude
Within the first 10pages the author begins to attack the rights of gay people, the author seems sadly to never stop the attack either. This isn't a 'study guide' or anything else the preface wants the potential reader to think the book is about, its just a man using and sometimes twisting words to fit an anti-gay agenda. I do wish the author would have been more honest about the agenea this book clearly has. I found it interesting however that the author said "scriptures are to be used for ones own personal life..." but within two more sentences he begins to do the opposite, he wants his interpetation of scripture to be used against others. i read all of this book and just felt disgusted afterwards.
